Akos started to climb as early as in the 1970s. Since then he has climbed the 5000er of the Caucasus, the 7000ers of the ex-USSR, the 8000er of Cho Oyu. Not only this, he went to Kenya and Mexico to bag Kilimanjaro and Popocatapéti. Infected by the magic of foreign cultures, he enrolled to study cultural anthropology. Having visited China, India and the Middle East, he is still in love with Africa.
